GdS: Why Kessie wants to leave AC Milan; the plan for January

By Isak Möller -

After a poor start to the season, with just 13 points after 12 games, a mini-revolution could take place at Milan during the January transfer window. Franck Kessie is one of the players that could leave, a report claims.

According to today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews.it), the Ivorian is definitely one of the players that could say farewell to the Rossoneri, having failed to impress at the start of the season.

From the sale (between transfer fee and saved wages), Milan could get a respectable €35m, per the newspaper. Of course, this would be reinvested into the transfer market in order to replace the former Atalanta man.

As the report continues, there was an offer from Monaco in the summer, while contacts with a few English clubs also took place. Kessie has already told his entourage that he wants to leave Milan, and there are two main reasons behind this.

The midfielder is disturbed by the constant episodes of racism in Serie A. Furthermore, he is in disagreement with the management over technical choices. Therefore, he is ready to pack his bags.
