GdS: Wolves to make new offer for Kessie in January

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan could decide to offload a few players in January to gather funds for potential reinforcements. According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (via Milanlive.it), Franck Kessie could be one of them, as he has attracted the interest of several clubs.

As the newspaper points out, Wolves were very keen on signing the Ivorian midfielder last summer. However, the deal broke down as the parties failed to reach an agreement on the transfer fee and the salary.

Therefore, per the report, the English side are ready to make a new attempt for Kessie in January. Furthermore, the Rossoneri could be forced to sacrifice the player due to financial reasons, eyeing up a move for Arsenal loanee Mohamed Elneny.

Back in 2017, the midfielder was signed from Atalanta in a €28m deal. In the event of a sale, Milan would request around €30m for the player, who has performed well during his time with the San Siro side.
