Stefano Pioli is expected to field the XI we saw against Inter mid-week in the encounter with Lazio as well. The manager, therefore, has decided to opt for consistency in this crucial season finale.
Milan are currently in first place with 71 points, two points ahead of Inter, but the latter have a game in hand. The Rossoneri more or less need to win their remaining games, therefore, and it won’t be easy for them.
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (see photo below), it should be the same XI that we saw against Inter on Tuesday evening. Pioli will have some more depth to rely on, though, as both Ibrahimovic and Rebic have returned to group training.
There is no doubt that this could help Milan a lot during the game, provided that whoever comes on does a good job. It should also be noted that Alessio Romagnoli is back in the squad after recovering from his injury.
