GdS: Probable XIs for Milan vs. Juventus – Bennacer and Romagnoli to start

By Isak Möller -

Tomorrow evening, AC Milan will take on Juventus in the 23rd round of Serie A and after the Spezia defeat, they are eager to bounce back with a win. Stefano Pioli has been handed a double boost for the game, as well.

The injury situation continues to be very tough for Milan but at least they will have Alessio Romagnoli in the heart of the defence again. He recently tested negative for Covid-19 and is ready to make difference for the Rossoneri.

In addition to him, Pioli will also be able to welcome Ismael Bennacer back into the team. Algeria didn’t make it through from the group stage in the AFCONs and the midfielder thus returned to Italy on Thursday evening.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (see photo below), Bennacer will play from the first minute as he’s in good condition. Sandro Tonali is also back from suspension and this means that it’s a strong tandem for Milan.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Florenzi, Kalulu, Romagnoli, Hernandez; Tonali, Bennacer; Saelemaekers, Diaz, Leao; Ibrahimovic.

Probable Juventus XI (4-2-3-1): Szczesny; De Sciglio, De Ligt, Chiellini, Pellegrini; Locatelli, Rabiot; Cuadrado, Dybala, McKennie; Morata.
