Ralf Rangnick is all clear to complete his move to AC Milan as RB Leipzig have already appointed his replacement, a report in Germany claims.
There have been numerous reports over the past few weeks suggesting that Rangnick will leave his position of Head of Football Development for Red Bull in order to accept a role at Milan as both head coach and the man in charge of recruitment.
According to German agency DPA, Red Bull have appointed a new Head of Global Soccer in the form of Oliver Mintzlaff, a role and a figure in a very similar scope to the one Rangnick currently holds.
Rangnick’s words last Friday now seem to serve as confirmation that he will accept an omnipotent role with the Rossoneri and begin a new adventure in Italy.
This of course comes amid reports from La Repubblica that Milan and the former Schalke boss are now discussing details such as the staff he will bring with him and the budget he will be given to work with.
