Giampaolo: “Ten excellent days with the group, Suso can make a difference”

By Isak Möller -

Ahead of his trip to Boston, where the Rossoneri will have their base during the International Champions Cup, Marco Giampaolo was intercepted by a few reporters.

On the first days with Milan: “They were ten days of excellent work. I found a group of curious players with a high level of professionalism, attention and good spirit. The Milanello facilities are extraordinary and the staff are fantastic.”

On Suso as trequartista: “He gave me great willingness to work in that role. He also did it very well. He is a strong player who has a vision of the game, who skips the man and looks forward. I’m happy with him.

“Suso is a strong player who can make a difference. Market developments and situations that are above me are not my responsibility. You have to talk about it with Maldini, Boban and Massara.”

On Cutrone: “I only saw him, I haven’t trained him yet because he came back Thursday. He will have to work at full speed and with the time we have available to work, I will evaluate him. Evaluations are done every day.”

On transfer rumours: “Modric? You will have to ask Maldini. Bennacer? He won the African Cup Of Nations, other than that I can’t say anything else.”
