Gimenez confirms imminent ‘dream’ move to AC Milan – photo

AC Milan have completed the signing of Santiago Gimenez, and the Mexican striker has confirmed that a deal is done on X this morning.

The Mexican striker is a huge statement of intent from Milan after a mistake-ridden season so far, and their persistence in the deal for the Feyenoord star is a sign, perhaps, of the club’s intentions to return to the elite levels of European football.

A deal was wrapped up this morning, and the striker will travel to Milano today, with the striker confirming everything was done on a ‘dream’ move to the Rossoneri with a simple tweet.

  1. Well I didn’t expect Feyenoord to sell so happy to admit I’m very wrong. Surprised they didn’t do a deal with him to wait for summer but kudos for the club getting this over the line.

  2. Should have signed Gimenez last summer instead of Morata but I hope he also get Jonathan David next summer too on a free transfer and Lorenzo Lucca so that we can play 442.

Abraham out. Okafor out and Chukwueze out.

I wouldn’t have a problem selling Leao especially if we get Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund to replace him.

    1. Yea I don’t see Tammy, Okafor or Chukwueze staying past the summer. Tomori too for that matter. They seem set on letting him go. I’d loan out Musah for a year or two as well.

  3. Milan did it – they finally spent a little more on a striker … Hopefully we can provide him some decent service in the box. Also curious about Puli/Santi interactions outside of US/Mexico games …
