Giornale: Milan one step away from signing of midfielder from AS Nancy-Lorraine

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are closing in on being able to sign another player in what has already been a busy summer transfer window, a report claims.

Milan have already completed the signing of six players, namely goalkeeper Mike Maignan from Lille, centre-back Fikayo Tomori from Chelsea, midfielder Sandro Tonali from Brescia, striker Olivier Giroud from Chelsea, full-back Fode Ballo-Toure from Monaco and playmaker Brahim Diaz from Real Madrid.

Nonetheless, Monday’s edition of il Giornale (via MilanNews) writes how Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are close to closing another signing. The Rossoneri management are in fact one step away from securing Warren Bondo, a 17-year-old midfielder from AS Nancy-Lorraine who is very highly rated.

MilanNews reported last week that Milan reached an agreement with Bondo over a three-year contract during talks with his agents at Casa Milan, which can be extended to five years when the French midfielder turns 18. Bondo will be involved in both the Primavera and the first team as per the plans of the management.
