AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli will have Olivier Giroud back at his disposal for the game against Napoli on Sunday night, a report claims.
There are some worries about Milan at the moment as the team are simply not playing at the same levels as earlier in the season due to a combination of injuries and the subsequent fatigue that comes from a lack of depth and a hectic schedule.
However, this morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) reports that good news has arrived from the treatment room regarding the recovery of Giroud, who has missed the last few games since sustaining a muscle injury in the Champions League win at Atletico Madrid.
The French forward will be back at Pioli’s disposal for Sunday’s match against Napoli at San Siro, while the paper adds that Rafael Leao – who got injured in the league match against Salernitana – will undergo a new medical examination today to evaluate the muscle injury that is keeping him out.
