Giroud and Hernandez back in action today as France will take on England

Olivier Giroud and Theo Hernandez are back in action in the World Cup today, as France will take on England in the quarter-finals. The AC Milan duo is expected to play from start and it should be an exciting game.

France have done very well in the tournament thus far and the two Milan men have been important for the team. Giroud broke the all-time goalscoring record in the French national team (now 52 goals) and Hernandez has provided two assists thus far.

Tonight, as said, France will face England in the quarter-finals and kick-off is scheduled for 20:00 CET. France are probably considered slight favourites but it’s a very difficult game to predict, as both teams have done well.

Giroud and Hernandez will play from the first minute and they will be important in many ways. The striker will have to make the most of his chances while it will be crucial for Hernandez to preserve a defensive balance, as Kylian Mbappe mostly is focused on attacking.
