Jens Petter Hauge has had limited playing time at Milan in the last few months and was excluded from the Europa League squad. However, the youngster will perhaps get a chance to shine, named in Norway’s squad.
The Norwegian national team will take on Gibraltar, Turkey and Montenegro in the World Cup qualifiers later this month and Hauge has been included. This was revealed by head coach Ståle Solbakken yesterday, as reported by NRK.
As mentioned, Hauge hasn’t had much playing time with the Rossoneri, also because Rade Krunic has done really well both as a CAM and LW. And under normal circumstances, when all the players are fit, the competition is fierce.
It’s clear that just 59 minutes in the last six games isn’t enough for Hauge to continue his growth, which is why a loan move might make sense in the summer. The season is still long, though, and perhaps he might get more chances.
