Hernandez insists ‘we gave our all’ in Torino draw and discusses Milan’s season finale

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan failed to bounce back with a win this evening as they registered yet another 0-0 draw, failing to break down a resilient Torino side. Theo Hernandez was understandably disappointed after the full-time whistle.

The Frenchman was one of the players that tried a lot, running up and down the flank, but he was notably tired towards the end of the game. In our player ratings, he received a 6/10 which could have been better with more composure in attack.

Speaking to DAZN after the game, as cited by MilanNews, Hernandez highlighted the fact that Torino wasted a lot of time throughout the game. He admitted that the last two games were poor, but is already focused on the next one.

On failing to win…

“We gave our all, we didn’t manage to win, but soon we have another match that we must win.”

On the game…

“They are difficult games. We are Milan, so they want to do well against us. They wasted time the whole game, so it’s not easy to play. We have another match next week and we have to win it.”

On the season finale…

“We have to give everything to win them all. The last two results were not good, but we must think about the next game.”

Milan will take on Genoa at home on Friday next week, hoping to celebrate Easter with what would be a very important win in the bag. Given their current struggles, though, it won’t be easy.
