CM: Together as one – Ibrahimovic and Conceicao rally around Theo during ‘most difficult moment’

Despite Theo Hernandez seemingly heading towards an exit, AC Milan are refusing to hang the Frenchman out to dry, on several levels.

In a time where Milan have often been separated on so many levels, it is a time for the club to come together. This season, there has been blame placed on every department, but the stars have regularly been given the most stick.

After the Champions League elimination this was, again, the case, especially after the mistakes from Mike Maignan and Theo Hernandez. However, the club views it as just that – mistakes.

For this reason, Calciomercato.com state that the club want to rally around the players, especially Theo, who is currently experiencing his ‘most difficult moment’. A message which has been relayed by Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Sergio Conceicao.

This, presumably, is why the Frenchman will start against Torino tomorrow, to keep that message of unity, rather than dropping him and creating further issues, given the backlash to doing so would result in suggestions of a fallout.

For the Rossoneri, the goal now is to turn things around on the field, and the only way that this can be done is with serenity – which is why Theo was not fined. The Champions League places remain a tangible goal, and the Diavolo want to achieve it together, in what will probably be Hernandez’s last season with the Rossoneri.

    1. The “real men” at the club protecting the coward Theo Hernández.
Theo left his teammates down a man in a very crucial game, but a fan boy of his is calling Milan fans cowards.

      1. Yes, I am a fanboy of Tomori, Leao, Theo. Even a complete mo**n would figure it out by now but you need some instructions and guidelines.

And for the ” left his teammates down a man in a very crucial game” is exactly what I am talking about. Only pussies like you attack someone when they are down and at their worst. And Ibrahimovic and Conceicao showed you how to be a man, but you can’t do that. You can’t even understand.

        1. Ha ha 😂.
          Unhinged much?
Ibra and Conceição has no choice but to play that coward since Milan has 3 RBs injured and they have to play Jimenez on the right, with Bartesaghi and Terracciano the only options to take Theo’s place.
Ibra and Conceição are stuck between a rock and a hard place, that’s why they are playing him.
You are too emotional to understand that.

          1. Now when they renew his contract it will be a great day. I know your pussy will get tight that day but its fine. You’ll meet a real men once

        2. Ibra or Conceicao was going to say how Theo is a coward and wanted to insult him like you but he realized there is no one else to play so he didn’t, right? If Walker was fit Theo would be benched?

          You’re literally a mo**n. 🤣🤣🤣

          1. Ha ha 😂.
This little boy is talking about renewing Theo’s contract. If you haven’t been around, Milan accepted Como’s offer for Theo. Theo is done at Milan. And maybe Milan will finally sign a real man to play at left back instead of unhinged emotional clown who lets his teammates down over and and over again.
Just a reminder, the people you call real men stripped Theo from his captaincy already.

  1. So I suggest you use “real men” when you describe yourself. And I’ll be the fanboy of Milan players being attacked by pussies.

  2. It was Musah who should be fined to first loose the direct top8 and more money than qualifiers.
Manager and team for playing badly for 90mins against Feyenoord in 1st leg and then Theo would be 3rd in the end.

It’s funny, no one speaks about how poor our defense was for 2nd goal.
Luckily Tomori was on bench otherwise he could have become a scapegoat leaving Theo and Leao in next places.

  3. Every single metric of his performance has steadily dropped over the last 2 to 3 years. The only stat that has increased is the number of completed passes. Why is that?

Because he doesn’t go very often past the halfway line, and constantly passes back to the center backs. Because he is no longer allowed to bomb forward and contribute an attack due to the imbalance that it creates, and the lack of midfield reinforcement to cover for it. The reason he was stellar under Pioli is because Pioli allowed him to bomb forward with freedom and disregard to defending and the gaps it created.

This is what he has always been: great player going forward, terrible in defense. I don’t think any of this is shocking. So when the Portuguese coaches come in and preach balance it negates every single good trait the Frenchman has and puts all his defensive liabilities on full display.

    1. Theo Stats that have gone up from 21-22 season:
      Shots
      Shot creating actions
      Clearances

      Remain the same:
      G+A
      key passes

      Down:
      Tackles
      Tackles won
      Challenge win percentage
      Interceptions
      1v1 dribbling percentage
      Turnovers

His offensive production looks very similar…
His dribbling progressive distance is down 35% on
less than a 10% decrease in carries..

This seems to imply that he is free to do the same things, but the outcomes have been not as good…but you could argue based on the goals/assists that they are roughly as good…less flashy because of his issues with take ons…

Also that teams were not prepared to take advantage of a high press…whereas many are anticipating it now and looking to use it to their advantage…

The idea of a fine doesn’t make sense to me. If it’s for the yellows cards…I’d argue that he and musah play in a league where most of the time out of the 4 yellows they received 1 would be given, Theo’s first would be given but second yellows aren’t given out unless something very dangerous happens and even a first yellow is unlikely in the first half. It is hard to change to play differently when competing in two competitions at the same time.

      1. Balls touched in the final third, a final offensive third: 2019 > 716. 2025 >336.
        Year by year: 716>673>605>584 >530 >336.

Distance ran with the ball at his feet:
        20/21, 9km. 24/25, 3.39km

        Crosses into the box:
        2019 – 83, 24/25 – 36.

        Tackles won and balls recovered:
        19/20, 82. 24/25, 29.

        Percentage of completed passes:
        19/20, 82%. 24/25 85%.

    2. Oh, these arguments with the stats. I know you watch Milan games. I assume you’ve watched enough football in your life. There are players which are top talents, champions, like Theo is. And there are the others. You can’t treat Theo like he is Calabria.

Yes, he’s been having a nightmare season. Also due to some poor coverage and tactics at the beginning of the season. But if it’s numbers you care about, look at his goal contributions in serie a. This season. And last season he was great, I don’t know what stats are you referring to. So his defensive game needs improvement, and it will improve. It can’t get worse than this.

We all know what he can do, unlike other variables in the squad. We just need a decent backup to make him feel less comfortable in his spot.

  4. Frankly at this point, if Theo leaves, I won’t miss him. Before, I considered him not negotiable. Now I wish some other team will take him from us. He’s been damaging the team and being responsible for dropped points and a crucial elimination.

We lost to the Feyenoord reserves! A minor team in crisis and they eliminated us, and it’s Theo’s fault. Enough is enough.

In several occasions this season Theo was detrimental to Milan. Without his failures we’d be in a better position domestically and internationally.
