Ibrahimovic jokes after getting Tapiro d’Oro: “I am the owner of Milan”

By Oliver Fisher -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has joked that he is the owner of AC Milan amid an ongoing investigation by the Prosecutor’s Office into the club’s corporate structure.

It is hard to succinctly summarise everything we know so far about the investigation into Milan by the Prosecutor’s Office, but an article with some frequently asked questions (and answers) from earlier today should bring you up to speed.

While the investigations involving Milan are keeping fans around the world on edge, Giorgio Furlani made a bit of a joke yesterday before the Slavia Praha game, and Ibrahimovic has now followed.

Striscia la Notizia gave the famous Golden Tapir to Zlatan and he responded: “I am the owner of Milan, but this is a secret.

He added: “There was a check, but they didn’t find anything. The owner of Milan is RedBird. The boys are doing well, they are listening to me. They have to, otherwise…”

The Tapiro d’Oro is a small golden statue usually delivered to big celebrities or politicians who have not exactly had the best of weeks, and this time it goes to Ibra.

  1. I don’t understand. Why didn’t Ibra have a good week? He is not being accused of anything. The facts the Procura is looking into (which by the way I find to be bogus), precede Ibra’s hiring as an advisor. At the time, Ibra was a player. Why should Ibra get the Tapiro d’Oro? Furlani would be a more likely recipient.

  2. Well, Zlatan is always Zlatan. But don’t let that distract you from the fact that Jesus Christ is the owner of the entire universe both known and unknown, seen and unseen. This life is just a test of your character, have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and find peace that no one can steal from you. Nothing anyone says or does can remove this peace.
