Inter coach Simone Inzaghi has been left furious after Lega Serie A decided to change the hotel that the teams stay at in Riyadh for the Supercoppa Italiana final, a report claims.
As has been reported by Il Giornale (via Milan News), the Inter coach is a very superstitious man and he expected to be staying in the same hotel that he has on previous working visits to Suadi Arabia.
He has won the Supercoppa Italiana three times in his career and two of those editions that he won were played in Riyadh. One was against Juventus in 2019 when he was the Lazio coach, and the other was in 2021 with Inter, also against Juventus.
He stayed in the same hotel with his teams on both of those occasions but has been given a different one for the 2022 Supercoppa final against AC Milan which will be held on Wednesday night.
This has caused a lot of anger for the coach from Piacenza.
Furious? For that? Wow. He’s got mental issues for sure.
At least we now know the reason if Inter actually lost tomorrow. 😀
