Journalist claims Milan have agreed terms with midfielder – talks on with club over €2m deal

AC Milan are pushing ahead with a deal for Warren Bondo and are slowly agreeing more details of the operation, a journalist has claimed.

Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com reported earlier today that Milan have established official talks with his club AS Nancy-Lorraine to try and secure the services of the 17-year-old midfielder, whose contract expires in 2022.

Milan believe they have made their best offer, which is €700k plus bonuses related to appearances which could see the total fee rise to the €2m initially requested by Nancy. There is also the possibility of signing the player on a free transfer by agreeing a pre-contract with him.

According to the latest from Nicolo Schira, Milan are negotiating with the Ligue 2 side to try and sign Bondo but Nancy also want a percentage of future resale. The midfielder meanwhile has already agreed a three-year deal with Milan which has an option to extend it by two seasons when he turns 18.

The Rossoneri management have offered €0.7m plus lots of easily achievable bonuses (for example they will get €0.4m when he makes his third appearance) to get to €2m. Nancy would like a higher fixed part.
