Journalist claims Milan will re-open talks with Bologna over defensive star in January

By Isak Möller -

As has been widely reported today, Milan will make a few moves in the January window, having saved a bit from the summer mercato. Although they are in a golden moment, a few reinforcements are indeed needed.

The Rossoneri have done well at the start of this season, winning all of their games in Serie A while continuing to score many goals. Furthermore, despite some injury struggles, they have conceded very little as well.

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara, however, are keen on improving the squad and thus will turn to the mercato in January. According to Niccolo Ceccarini in his latest piece for TuttoMercatoWeb, they still have their sights on Takehiro Tomiyasu.

In fact, they are ready to make another attempt for the Japanese defender, having failed to secure him in September. The 21-year-old can play as right-back or centre-back and Milan have been following him for quite some time.
