The long-awaited derby between AC Milan and Inter will take place tomorrow, in front of a packed San Siro. Having started the year well, the Rossoneri will look to continue on the same path, but it won’t be easy against the city rivals.
In today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (via Calciomercato.com), Milan legend Ricky Kaka was interviewed about the big game and what his predictions are. Just like many of the Rossoneri faithful, he believes that Zlatan Ibrahimovic could play an important role.
“My favourite derby is that of the Champions League, because it’s even more unique. Tomorrow, Ibrahimovic will score and we will hope for the best,” he began.
Since Paolo Maldini took on a role in management at the club, there have been rumours of Kaka potentially going down the same path. Of course, he was asked by the newspaper about the matter, confirming his will to return to the club.
“Me at Milan? The desire to return is great, but it’s not the right time. I would like to work with Maldini and Boban, to help the club, and above all to learn. However, it’s not the right time to leave Brazil,” he concluded.
The derby will kick off at 20:45 tomorrow and Inter are the designated home side. Hopefully, the Rossoneri can at least continue their unbeaten run, although it won’t be easy as stated.
