Fikayo Tomori and Pierre Kalulu

Kalulu comments on Tomori to Juventus rumours: “It went well for me”

As Fikayo Tomori has been heavily linked with a move to Juventus this month, his former colleague and AC Milan loanee Pierre Kalulu was asked about a potential Bianconeri switch for the Englishman.

Milan and Juventus are currently in advanced negotiations over Tomori, as per the latest reports, and it seems an agreement could be reached at around €30m. In many ways, it’s a sale that doesn’t make sense to the Rossoneri fans, effectively reinforcing a rival mid-season.

It happened in the summer as well with Kalulu, who has become a regular in the Bianconeri’s defence and is showing his qualities once again. Speaking to DAZN after yesterday’s 2-0 win against Milan, the Frenchman was asked about Tomori potentially making the move again.

How is the transition from Milan to Juve? Do you recommend it to Tomori?

“I’ve been in Italy for four years, every year there’s a lot of noise on the mercato, in this country it’s very popular. I only watch when the contracts are signed. As for the move, I can only speak for myself and it went well for me,” he stated as cited by MilanNews.

Should the move materialise, then Milan’s Scudetto centre-back pairing would reunite. Regardless of how the money will be reinvested by the management, it would no doubt annoy the fans to reinforce Juventus once again.

  1. Tomori to Juve would be a desaster! To let such a good player go just like that, and to let him go to Juve?!?!I dont belive that. After all there are anough clubs from abroad who are willing to pay same amounts of money for him,if he were to sell att all costs.Even Calulu loan to Juve was bad enough…but hey…this is mercato,it all goes around money, right?Redbird…who the f..k is redbird??

  2. Someone wrote here very good comment: for one sale, they will make 3 purchases.

Let me just mention that the price for Buongiorno was the same as the price for Emerson Royal and Pavlovic. But Buongiorno have only one salary, and Milan pay Emerson Royal for his flops and Pavlovic for bench cheerleading

  3. Want to ask a simple question just assuming nothing much I know the UCL qualifications takes miracle or disqualification of any team to fit in but let me say Milan win all the remaining games left can we qualify automatically without any probabilities or waiting for favour from any team

    1. 17-18 matches to go. Milan are 9 points behind 3rd place. 4 or even 5 get into UCL. Winning 14 matches would pretty much guarantee an UCL spot for next season.
