Kalulu believes Milan are ‘more mature’ and discusses ‘fun’ fixture list – video

By Isak Möller -

Pierre Kalulu was one of the best players on the pitch last night as Milan clinched a 2-0 win against Bologna. After the game, he was pleased with the team performance and also the fact that they got a clean sheet.

It was the Rossoneri’s first clean sheet of the season after conceding two goals against Udinese and one against Atalanta. The defenders are starting to find their groove, in other words, which is very positive.

Speaking to MilanTV (see video with subtitles below), Kalulu shared his thoughts on the win and also the tight schedule Milan have ahead.

On their form: “I’d say we are more mature, rather than being more experienced because each game is different but certain situations are repeated. We know some of the things that might happen, so we’re ready for them.”

On the clean sheet: “In the end, clean sheets are important because it means the team suffers less and we have a bit more confidence. Picking up a clean sheet in our third game shows we have gotten stronger.

On the schedule: “There are going to be a lot of back-to-back games. As soon as one ends we need to focus on the next. I think it’s going to be fun, probably even more fun for you watching, but we are determined to prove our strength.”

  1. At the moment we are doing enough to get the job done, there’s no shame in drawing at Atalanta, they’re a good side. It’s a decent start to the season

I’m very much looking forward to the chelsea games as a marker of where we are at…
