Simon Kjaer is working hard to recover from the knee injury he sustained back in December and it seems he will be back for the 2022/23 season. However, he’s travelling with the team to Reggio Emilia today.
AC Milan will take on Sassuolo in the final round of the season and they can secure their first Scudetto in eleven years. A lot is at stake, therefore, and Stefano Pioli wants everyone to be united for the final 90 minutes of the season.
Therefore, Kjaer is also travelling with the team (as you can see in the video below) and his presence will add some experience to what is a very young team. In that sense, he and Zlatan Ibrahimovic have been absolutely crucial.
Hopefully, the Dane will come back even stronger and ending what has been a very tough season with a Scudetto win could give him the boost needed. The Rossoneri, we repeat, need at least a draw from the game to finish first.
