New AC Milan signing has admitted that he is ‘living the dream’ by joining the club, and highlighted his idol as Ricardo Kaka.
The Rossoneri finally announced the signing of the Bosnia international on Monday, despite reports the deal had been tied up weeks ago.
It is widely claimed that Milan have paid a fee of €8m plus bonuses for the 25-year-old, who impressed with five goals and six assists in 33 Serie A appearances despite his side being relegated.
Krunic, who penned a five-year deal, is delighted to get started under Marco Giampaolo.
“I have been dreaming of this team for a long time,” he told the club’s social media channels.
“I think I can do well at Milan. It was wonderful to enter Casa Milan, when I entered San Siro I had fear.
“Kakà was my idol as a child, when I followed Milan. The grit and the application that I put on the field I think are the most important things that the fans watch. I realised my dream.”
