CM: Krunic likely to start ahead of Pobega for Milan-Udinese

Rade Krunic is likely to get the nod from Stefano Pioli ahead of Tommaso Pobega for the Udinese match on Saturday evening, a report claims.

As has been reported by Calciomercato.com, the AC Milan coach has got a difficult choice ahead of the Serie A curtain raiser against Udinese on Saturday evening.

Stefano Pioli will be without Sandro Tonali due to an injury so he needs to decide who will start alongside Ismael Bennacer at San Siro.

Many fans may want to see Pobega start as this is his first season as part of the Milan first team but it seems likely that Pioli is going to play it safe and use Krunic instead.

Tonali developed a problem with his hip flexor during the friendly against Vicenza and he faces some time on the sidelines. Much of the rest of the Milan side will pick itself for the first game of the title defence.

  1. Was there ever any doubt that Krunic would start over Pobega?
Rade about to go wild, assist and a goal
Time to settle an old score with Udinese
    Milan 4-0 Udinese

  2. How is it possible that he is still in our squad! How can you play Lord Krunic when you have Pobega.
I will never understand the love of Pioli towarda useless Krunic

    1. We could not have won scudetto, only player to play multiple positions and never let us down in any position. More over never complains about changing him to new position maybe he will play as CB and goal keeper too.
He is Milner for AC Milan.
No player give flexibility to change his place anywhere on the ground and managés reasonably good.
As a Coach, you will definitely like him may not be as a Fan.
Milner in Liverpool plays most games than another on the bench in Liverpool even more than young 25year old. Milner is 36 still à Liverpool player….

    2. Do you even watch our matches?
You people talk too much.Allow the coach to work.He only knows what he is doing. You don’t know better than him.

    3. If u watch milan matches then u won’t say this ,let’s be truthful krunic has been helpful ,watch the last match against Atalanta he did well and I support pioli s decision on keeping him

    4. Are you even watching Milan matches? Krunic might not be a world star, but he is definetly a decent player that does his best anytime he is on the pitch.

  3. i like krunic when other people call him lord krunic… and now he prove it, he can play in many position… even pioli played him as left foward…

  4. Krunic itu pemain yang sederhana , tapi efektif … Tidak explosive tapi positioning nya bagus , umpannya bagus…

  5. A very exciting season lies ahead .We are the scuddeto champions..We have a great team ,and great manager ..We have Oliver Giroud, yes he may be 35 ,but he is still a great asset to ant team as a centre forward ,and I believe could rack up 20 goals this season ,,we also have Rebic ,Leo ,etc, so plenty of goals in this team ,we have a solid defence ..We can challenge again this season ,make no mistake about that .
