AC Milan star Rafael Leao has claimed that he has never thought about leaving the club, but did admit that he misses the presence of Paolo Maldini.
The Portuguese forward was interviewed by Fabio Fazio on Che Tempo Che Fa on Nove (read the full interview here) so that he could talk about his upcoming book, as well as his career as a whole so far.
He was asked about what it means to be a Milan player, and he made an important declaration amid the rumours swirling regarding a potential move to PSG.
“Milan helped me grow as a player, I never thought about leaving. When I arrived [Paolo] Maldini helped me a lot,” he said.
“He called me before arriving at the Rossoneri telling me that he was very interested in me and that he wanted me at Milan. I miss him, he is a good person and I owe him a lot. He told me not to make music.”
Sounds like a pretty influential figure for a young star. Something that doesn’t show up on paper.
But it shows on the field.
Have an impression that especially if we don’t win EL we’ll sell him, probably with Theo and Maignan. Let’s say a 250-300 million check from PSG for all three.

Conte plays a lot with 343 as well. And we also play a bit with 343 this season. So, Leao won’t have any problem.
The main problem we have is more about mentality, how to keep that winning spirit, how to keep that hunger, how to keep the consistency. And as much as I hate Conte thru his time at Juve, I think he’s one of the best to deal with that kind of situation.
Conte will bring the worst out of him, Leão doesnt play well in a 3 ATB formation
I get fed up with the lot of you moaning and groaning,about poili ,,,it was loftus cheek a few games ago …unfair criticism of Olivier Giroud,,,he has done very well ,,yes last game was not his best and his penalty miss awful ,but overall he is one of our best performers..Then Rafeol leao ,,,I think he is awesome ,and he is the one he always look like he will and does create something,,,yes he needs to start scoring goals .but he would be in my team any day ,as would Olivier Giroud..Then the nonsense talked about getting CONTE as our new coach ..” He will bring us instant success “ dream on wake up and smell the coffee ☕️

What I will say is that despite what many of you are saying ,,.we are still doing pretty well ..
We should have won the match against Bologna .
We were the better team ..You just can’t miss two penalties..although yes the first one never was ,,but let’s move on and win our next match ..
The best coach to have is the one we have already ..
Conte will upset the whole team ,,,and the harmony and United team spirit will die ,,,half the team will leave …Then this means we have to change the whole team again this takes time ..Give pioli more time with the players that we have and success will come again .
So just start being real fans and remain optimistic.
