Rafael Leao has called out a racist comment that he received on his social media profile, and AC Milan have shared their support for the winger.
After the Mike Maignan incident away against Udinese when the game had to be stopped due to opposition fans showering him with racial abuse, yet another dark episode has arrived.
This time it was Leao who was the victim of yet another episode of racist insults after the 4-2 loss against Monza on Sunday. Through his Instagram stories, Leao re-shared a message in which he was abused.
What is even more shocking is that the profile in question purports not to be a fan of another club but of Milan, stating: “I can’t watch you anymore, I can’t bear you anymore. With you on the pitch I’m becoming racist. You’re annoying me… Leave as soon as possible, you and those who follow you.”
In re-sharing this message Leao then commented on his Instagram story, responding bluntly to the insults and in turn insulting the fan by defining them as people with small brains: “Unfortunately the world continues to be full of this kind of people who have small minds.”
Milan also arrived in support of their player, again through social media, and on their X page (formerly Twitter): “Rafael Leao we are with you. In our fanbase and in football there is no room for racism.”

i pretty much had pulled the plug from attending this website but its pretty clear this story is clownish at best – not a bash towards the editors though 😀 and im sure most people can agree that racismn is dumb and nasty and unworthy of any intelligent people but for what we know this so-called “fan” might just as well be an inter fan a juventini or simply just a troll roaming the web. If i call myself Napoleon doesnt make me him and neither does calling oneself an ac milan fan make one.

Its very possible that it is an ac milan fan, do you see how players, coaches and directors are insulted everyday on this site, online comments are the worst in this world, people use a lot of deragatory insults here, people just show up to insult someone who will never even see their insults, who doesnt even know that they exist, after the insults and all the bad words they go to sleep feeling good, online people are weird, they are not normal people, unfortunately their empty words are becoming the loudest

Well i cant speak for others or if its a question of english isnt my native spoken language but i generally takes my time writing and re-read it before posting it so im far more calm on the web and is in much more danger to step over peoples toes off the web as im pretty impulsive so i tend to disagree even though i get your point.
I get your point too, when there are no insults its easier to understand that we are all correct, just different opinions, which is normal in every society
