Louis Vuitton owner dreaming of €950m Milan takeover next year; he wants Allegri

The project for a new San Siro is ready to take off. A big investment that will help the two Milanese clubs improve. Above all, Elliott want to accelerate the plans as having a modern stadium makes it easier to sell the Rossoneri.

As Il Giorno continues, there have been many rumours in recent months about the 70-year-old Bernard Arnault, who allegedly wants to buy Milan. So far, there have been no offers from the Frenchman, but the price tag has been determined already.

Elliott initially wanted €1.2b for the club, but that is destined to fall to €950m as a result of the Rossoneri’s heavy losses on the balance sheet, according to the report. Even though the American owners keep referring to a long-term plan, rumours have become more insistent.

Talks between Elliott and Arnault started between August and September, as the Louis Vitton owner wants to take over the club next summer. However, the negotiations slowed down due to the price tag, per the report.

Arnault remains interested as he wants to relaunch the club, ready to rely on a great profile to lead the team (Max Allegri is the dream). The game has just begun, so we can be sure that there will be more updates on the matter in the coming months.
