AC Milan technical director Paolo Maldini is at the club’s headquarters today where he could discuss a contract renewal with Gerry Cardinale, a report claims.
As has been reported by Milan News today, Maldini will be spending the day at Casa Milan and there will be plenty of discussions going on.
That is because the takeover by RedBird Capital was made official on Wednesday morning and they are now the majority owners of the club.
Maldini’s contract with Milan is actually set to expire at the end of the month and he has expressed anger at the fact previous owners Elliott Management did not address the issue earlier.
He will presumably be in discussions with RedBird number one Cardinale today to find out when they can sit down and discuss his contract extension.
Given the remarkable job that he has done, it is assumed that there will not be any sudden departure and he will sign a new deal.

Maldini, Masara, Moncada needs to stay. Period.
