Krzysztof Piatek was presented today at Milanello alongside Leonardo, Ivan Gazidis and Paolo Maldini, who spoke to the press about the transfer of the Polish attacker.
“It is a different reality than a few years ago. AC Milan has always focused on young players and now we are doing the same and so this is the line of our club,” he said.
“Our line is to take young talented players but it is not excluded that we will also sign experienced players.
“The team is in line with the objectives, we are fourth and we have the chance to reach the Champions League. We have many players in the team, we will see how it will look at the end of the market.
“The coach is managing the situation well as well as the management. When there are bad moods in a team, it is normal but when the manager works well and the club is strong, there are no problems. Since day one we have told the players that those who want to stay will remain at Milan.
“Piatek? It is not easy to make comparisons with the past. He has very specific characteristics, he must be himself,” Maldini concluded.
