Mediaset: Andre Silva wants Sporting move; Lille join race

By Isak Möller -

With just over one week left of the transfer window, AC Milan will have to solve the situation relating to Andre Silva’s future. According to SportMediaset, Lille have joined the race.

Valencia remain in the runnings for the Portuguese striker, as they are expected to sell Rodrigo to Atletico Madrid. However, Andre Silva would prefer to move elsewhere, having failed to impress during his last spell in Spain.

Meanwhile, Lille are considering making a move for the player, as Jorge Mendes has proposed the player to sporting director Luis Campos. However, it remains to be seen if the interest will take off.

Andre Silva would prefer a move to Sporting CP, who recently sold the striker Bas Dost. Furthermore, a return to Portugal would give him more exposure ahead of the Euros next summer.

However, the Portuguese side have only proposed a loan to Milan, who are looking to get €25m from the sale. Should the offer change, then the Rossoneri would be able to unlock the deal for Angel Correa.
