After many months of negotiating, during which there have been many contradicting reports, it seems the Hakan Calhanoglu saga is coming to an end. A new contract is ready for the Turkish international.
According to Claudio Raimoni of SportMediaset, as cited by MilanNews, the Rossoneri No.10 is ready to sign a contract renewal with Milan. The latter have been negotiating with his agent, Gordon Stipic, and a solution seems very close.
Calhanoglu has been a very important player for the Rossoneri in the last year and losing him for free would be a disaster. Fortunately, a total agreement between the parties is very close and the renewal could be formalised shortly.
Important news for Stefano Pioli and his side, given how important Calhanoglu is for the attacking trio and their style of play. Hopefully, the report will turn out to be true as there aren’t many months left until the summer.
