Mediaset: Details emerge as Milan eye deal for Real Madrid’s Jovic – Depay the alternative

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan appear to be serious about landing Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic as discussions are underway with his agent Fali Ramadani.

Yesterday it was reported by Mozzart Sport that Luka Jovic’s agent Ramadani will arrive in Milan tomorrow for negotiations with directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara over a six-month loan for the Serbian striker.

As confirmed by SportMediaset (via MilanLive), Milan have decided to focus on Jovic and negotiations have begun, with a meeting between the parties expected shortly. The terms of the salary must be discussed, while the formula of the operation would be a dry loan for six months.

Jovic will soon turn 23 and has a great desire to try and get back into former, and at Milan he would reunite with Ante Rebic with whom he had great chemistry Bundesliga. Real Madrid, who paid around €60m to land Jovic two summers ago, have been convinced to let him leave temporarily.

The Serbian has only put together five appearances this season, for a total of only 200 minutes on the pitch. The Rossoneri hope to finalise the agreement.

Another profile they like is Memphis Depay, who has a contract expiring in June 2021 with Lyon and which can be purchased for a low price. Gianluca Scamacca of Sassuolo is another player they are monitoring.
