Mediaset: Hauge prepares for first league start with Milan – preferred ahead of Diaz

By Isak Möller -

Jens Petter Hauge has impressed everyone at Milan, arriving at the end of September from Bodo/Glimt. The winger grabbed his second goal for the Rossoneri against Celtic mid-week after a solo run.

As reported by SportMediaset (via MilanLive), he’s ready to make his first league start for the club tomorrow, as Milan will face Sampdoria away from home. With Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Rafael Leao injured, he has got more space.

Ante Rebic will remain as the striker, once again beating Lorenzo Colombo, and Hauge is thus the only natural left-winger in the squad. Brahim Diaz is also an option for that position, but the Norwegian has been in good form lately.

The game is scheduled for 20.45 CET tomorrow and Hauge will be looking to grab his second league goal for the club. He will have Alexis Saelemaekers and Hakan Calhanoglu in support in the attacking trio. It’s a good opportunity, that’s for sure.
