Mediaset: Milan prepare offer of €20m plus Gabbia for Sassuolo captain

By Isak Möller -

Milan are looking for a right-winger on the market as they are expected to part ways with Samu Castillejo this summer. Several names have been linked with the Rossoneri and a new target has now emerged.

According to a report from Mediaset, as cited by MilanLive, Domenico Berardi is on Milan’s wish list for the right flank. The captain of Sassuolo is the latest addition to the list, although he has been linked with the club in the past as well.

Milan already have an offer ready for the winger, per the report, worth €15-20m cash plus the inclusion of the talented Matteo Gabbia. Involving the latter is the Rossoneri’s way of lowering the initial demands of Sassuolo.

The Neroverdi would like to get €40m for the sale but also know that Berardi wants to try his luck at a bigger club. €20m plus Gabbia could thus be the right amount to get them to accept the offer.

  1. It is very humiliating that Milan wants to buy Berardi and it is very funny. Milan cannot bring De Paul because of the high price, Milan cannot bring Jonathan Icons because of the high price, and now the journalist is writing such nonsense. First, Berardi finished his best days and who needs him? Why doesn’t Inter or Juventus want to buy him, because they don’t want such a player. Milan has a problem in their house and Maldini and Massara will have to solve it very quickly with ELIOT because we will not get anywhere like this. Milan needs a lot of big players now and Milan has to set aside at least 200 million for that

    1. You are the worst. If you hate Milan so much, why don’t you stop reading the articles? At the very least, stop posting comments.

    2. You seriously don’t know anything about Football in reality. You must be thinking this is as easy FIFA Career Mode. There is something called as Financial Fair Play that needs to be followed. Not everything has a shortcut to success.

      1. You definitely have no idea about football and you don’t even know what serious people write about ChazyMilan. Your problem is that you don’t know how to write a sentence in English normally

    3. You are right Cesar, Milan got rid of Donnarumme he is worth 100 mil. sale Conti, Laxsalt, departure of Antonio Donnarumma, Alessio Romagnoli, Mario Mandžukić. Milan saved another 100 million. and that’s enough to buy new players.

  2. I am all in for getting Berardi but I don’t think we should include Gabbia. He is a valuable squad member, good for squad depth and this just forces us to add one more defender. Plus Gabbia is a homegrown, 100% loyal to AC Milan. I think we should hang on to him

    1. Gabbia shouldn’t be sold at all !! These decisions come to haunt back at us everytime. Pessina, Christante & Locatelli especially.

  3. And Cesar let me ask u, who told u that De Paul is bigger and better than Berardi?
    For where?
We all want De Paul but Berardi is an upgrade to our attack

  4. – captain of Udinese.
    – captain of Torino
    – v-ce captain of Sassuolo

All with grinta, expirience and character. That would be some serious swuad, but a little lacking in flair up front.

  5. You definitely have no idea about football and you don’t even know what serious people write about ChazyMilan. Your problem is that you don’t know how to write a sentence in English normally

  6. Empty story, Milan will never buy Berardia. This is not the player Milan needs. Maldini has already commented on Berardia several times, saying that he is an experienced and good player, but he is not our profile, which means THE END

  7. no to adding homegrown player as exchange. while berardi not a bad choice, there is better player for that much of money.

the mercato full of rumors as always.
