Mediaset: Milan still missing key agreement with Ibrahimovic; two others teams interested

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have still not managed to find an economic agreement amid speculation he is closing in on a return to the club, a report claims.

La Gazzetta dello Sport issued a report on Monday night claiming that the Swede has told close friends of his decision to move back to Milan.

In addition, newspaper il Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews.it) then added Ibrahimovic is now one step away from Milan, with talks at an advanced stage and just the contract length to be sorted.

However, according to the latest from SportMediaset – as cited by MN – the road that could bring Ibra back to Milan seems to be drawn and without obstacles, but in reality the two parties still need to find an agreement over salary.

The club’s first offer was €2m for the first six months and €4m for next season, with that being an option only in the event of qualifying for the next Champions League – neither of which please the 38-year-old.

At this point, a new offer from the Rossoneri is not excluded because the pressure of the Milan supporters is growing. A decision should arrive by Sunday, but attention must also be drawn to Napoli’s interest and that of a foreign club.
