Mediaset: Rangnick hands five-man shopping list to Gazidis – €50m defensive duo included

By Oliver Fisher -

Ralf Rangnick has given a shopping list to CEO Ivan Gazidis containing five names he would like to reinforce the Milan squad, a report claims.

According to TV station SportMediaset (as cited by MilanNews), Rangnick has already indicated to Gazidis that there are five players he wants to try and bring in before the 2020-21 season gets underway.

The first name is that of Fiorentina centre-back Nikola Milenkovic. La Viola values the Serbia international at €30million and there could be talks regarding a possible swap deal involving Lucas Paqueta.

Agent Fali Ramadani represents Milenkovic as well as another name on Rangnick’s wish list in Luka Jovic, but first it will be necessary to see who Los Blancos sign to gauge whether a move will be possible.

Third is Dominik Szoboszlai, the Red Bull Salzburg midfielder who is described as an ‘obsession’ for Rangnick, the man who brought him to Austria.

Also in midfield, there is concrete interest in Florentino Luis of Benfica, while finally Mino Raiola is working to lower PSV Eindhoven’s demands for right-back Denzel Dumfries, valued at €20m currently.
