Mediaset: The average points with and without Ibrahimovic – Milan have matured

By Isak Möller -

There’s no doubt that Zlatan Ibrahimovic has helped turn things around at Milan, arriving in January. The Rossoneri are currently on a 21-game unbeaten run and will be looking to extend it tomorrow.

Approaching the match between Milan and Roma, Mediaset (via MilanNews.it), analysed the Rossoneri with and without Ibrahimovic. In the absence of the Swede, the Rossoneri have collected 6 wins and 3 draws with an average of 2.33 points per game.

With Ibrahimovic on the field, however, the average stands at 2.25. The contribution of the Swede is fundamental but Milan have shown that they are a mature team. Therefore, as the report concludes, it’s more Stefano Pioli’s Milan than Ibra’s Milan.

On Monday evening, they will take on Roma in the 5th round of Serie A, hoping to continue their 100% record. Currently sitting in first place, a win would be yet another sign of what they are capable of this season.
