Mediaset: The chances of Ibrahimovic staying at AC Milan are ‘slim’

By Isak Möller -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s future at AC Milan remains uncertain. Although the 38-year-old has been a success since his arrival in January, it remains to be seen if the club are willing to renew his deal, and above all if he wants to stay.

As reported by Claudio Raimondi for Sportmediaset (via MilanNews.it), Ibrahimovic returned to Sweden on Thursday evening on a private flight. Meanwhile, the Rossoneri fans are anxious about his future.

After Zvonimir Boban’s farewell, the striker’s situation has certainly changed, also because Paolo Maldini most likely will leave as well at the end of the season. In fact, Ibrahimovic is no longer so sure on renewing the deal.

Per the report, there will be a meeting with CEO Ivan Gazidis soon. However, after the chaos that has been generated at the club, there isn’t much optimism. The chances of seeing him in the Rossoneri shirt next season are ‘slim’.
