Camarda Monza

Romano: Milan agree dry loan with Monza for Camarda – the details

Yesterday, it was reported that Francesco Camarda was a transfer target for Monza, and it seems a deal is done to leave AC Milan for a short period.

Sometimes football does not go how people imagine it to and Camarda has definitely been a victim of this. The 16-year-old has shown that he possesses quality way beyond his age already, but he has struggled in the Futuro set-up.

With the Milan senior team, it has been the same story, just in a different way. He has looked arguably better in the first-team picture, but his minutes have not been as frequent, so a Serie A loan may be the right step for him currently.

So when Monza came forward with a loan proposal yesterday, it seemed like a good idea, and today, the Rossoneri have agreed on a deal.

According to Fabrizio Romano this afternoon, the Diavolo have agreed to send the starlet on loan to Adriano Galliani’s club for six months – which imaginably stops their pursuit of Luka Jovic. With the youngster agreeing to the move, he will join the Biancorossi with ‘immediate effect’.

The journalist also clarified that on conclusion of the loan in June, he will return to Milan.

  1. It’s probably good he gets some more game time somewhere else but they better make some serious moves to better this team.

    1. Hopefully. Then he’ll be ready to lead the line for us next year. He wouldn’t do it here though, with the atmosphere around Milan, so hope he gets some chances to develop properly.

  2. Since the pressure is high at Milan now, a move to a small team is a good idea. He needs to gain experience in a calm environment. It also helps to stay away from the laziness of Tomori, Theo, Leao etc.
Kayode was sold to Brentford. Napoli are working to buy Commuzzo. Casadei is on the market. Dorgu, who can play on both sides, too. Why don’t Milan move for such young talents? Some of them might be raw, but it is the time for a major renovation though. Milan can hardly get a UCL spot for next season, so replacing some lazy players with young, hungry talent could be a very good idea.

    1. Add Gnoto, Lucca to that list and Ricci being no-brainer… I would even make suggestion about Berardi since he wouldn’t need much babysitting and would start scoring immediately….

Kayode would have been even easier since they have Adli… this management is ruining this club…

    2. To be candid, 6 month is too short for him. i feel it’s high time this guys are given maybe 18 month loan so as to settle with their environment. something like the brahim diaz situation with us. we cant expect monza to throw him to the fray at 16years

    1. It’s like when the parents are about to get into a fight and send the child away to their grandparents while they work siht out.

  3. I’m glad he’ll actually get some playing time, but if this means we’re just gonna keep watching Tammy and morata fail every game, it’s gonna be hell

  4. He should be playing for us already..it’s not like morata and Tammy offer anything anyways. This is jist the first step in an eventual sale. Fire RedBird!!

  5. Utter stupidity. If Morata is going that leaves Jovic and Abraham up front. Gimenez is currently injured, even if he arrives.

  6. I guess he still hopes to become youngest ever goalscorer in Serie A and is starting to panic that he won’t manage with Milan due to limited minutes. I fully understand him.

But still I think it’s good for Milan to not have to think about an extra burden for a while (I don’t mean him to be a burden but his individual goal in such a tricky season already)

  7. I think it’s a good idea to omit him from the sh*thousery that is going on around this club. Too much pressure for this kid. In Monza he can focus to improve and perform without unecessary pressure.

  8. I’m convinced the management are Crazy as this is the last straw.

This will be the worst decision they make for the past year

  9. Makes sense only if Lucca or Gimenez is actually coming. Otherwise we’re stuck with Abraham, Jovic & Morata who combined are way worse than Camarda and couldn’t score even if their lives depended on it. Our expected goal ratio just sunk to all time low if Camarda goes.

  10. Aside from the utter sh1t state of the first team, this move also confirms the complete failure of the Futuro.
The Primavera have also gone form the very elite of europe to being barely able to win a point

How a bunch of hapless, unintelligent, arrogant c-nts ruin a club in 2.5 years

I hope Gerry and the Turds end up broke or in jail

  11. So sad jovic still in this squad. Better let him go than camarda. At least camarda more useful than the Serbian on the pitch

  12. The coach should play jovic, the two striker are not active, give this guy playing time let see if the other striker will sit up
