AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli offered a coy response when asked about a potential return to the club for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The Swede has been constantly linked with a potential move back to the Rossoneri ever since he left the club for Paris Saint-Germain in 2012.
Last weeks, La Gazzetta dello Sport (via PianetaMilan.it) even revealed that Ibrahimovic came very close to returning to Milan last year, though the deal fell through at the last minute as CEO Ivan Gazidis vetoed the deal.
However, Paolo Maldini’s comments over the weekend added fuel to speculation that the 38-year-old could make a comeback, branding him a ‘dream player’.
Now the question has been put to Pioli, who responded very simply: “Can Zlatan help us? I’m focused only on my players.”
The same report on Calciomercato.it seems to suggest that Ibrahimovic is in fact a target for Milan, who are determined to add more experience in the January transfer window.
