CorSport: Milan rushing to get De Ketelaere deal done in time for Udinese clash

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan are rushing to make sure that they can get the Charles De Ketelaere deal completed in time for him to face Udinese on the opening day, a report claims.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport today, the Rossoneri are looking to make up for lost time and get the Belgian youngster through the door quickly.

The negotiations with Club Brugge have been exhaustive but there was finally a breakthrough earlier in the week.

He is expected to land in Milan on Sunday and then on the following Monday, he will undergo his medical examinations before heading to Casa Milan to officially sign his contract and be unveiled.

If that goes to plan, De Ketelaere will be at Stefano Pioli’s disposal on the Tuesday and he is already in good shape as he never stopped training with Brugge.

Milan then need to get him up to scratch tactically in time to face Udinese on the opening weekend and preferably in time for the August 6 friendly against Vicenza.
