CM: Milan expecting developments on multiple fronts in next four days as fans want answers

By Oliver Fisher -

This will be a busy week for AC Milan as there are developments expected on numerous different fronts, according to a report.

Calciomercato.com report that the last few days of June are the ones that should finally provide answers and some certainty regarding Milan’s immediate future. After a month of stalemate and controversy following the victory of the Scudetto – culminating on missing out on Sven Botman after months of negotiating – developments are needed to put everyone at ease.

The renewals of Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara should come first, as the directors will extend for another two years with an option on the third and a pay rise, so they can continue on a path that has proved successful.

One thing that could happen is a step forward in the pursuit of Renato Sanches, with Maldini and Massara waiting for the go-ahead to accelerate their pursuit of the Portuguese midfielder.

The arrival of Divock Origi should be made official. The Belgian striker accepted Milan months ago but his arrival in Italy has been postponed due to an injury that also prevented him from participating in the Champions League final. He will sign a four-year contract for €4m net per season, probably tomorrow or Wednesday.

Then there is the attack: Charles De Ketelaere is the favoured target but he would require a huge expense, exceeding the €30m that were set aside for Botman. New contacts between Milan and the agents of the young playmaker are expected in the coming days.

  1. Unless Brugge is willing to accept a loan with obligation to buy I’m afraid CDK will be too expensive for us, especially if we’re focusing on Ziyech/Asensio.

  2. When I consider how many newspaper articles have come out on this topic in the last month, and that almost none are identical, and that they do not coincide with each other for a lot, I simply have to accept the fact that journalists often invent information ! It is enough for them to just hear a name of interest and already know that the deal is almost done and the sum of money that is at stake. After three days, everything is already leading in a completely different direction, and we’re going all over again !

    1. You’re right man. Milan mercato is such that every season we keep expending data following different transfer news. This story was set to raise our hopes after weeks of disappointment. For me, I have resolved in my head and mind, ” no expectation, no disappointment”. Tired of these head- n heart- aches.

  3. This redbird Company is a fool, he supposed to leave the Investor man from Middle East, to buy AC Milan, the man is capable of buying players, he cannot bring out 100, 000 000 million Euro to but players, look at Sven Botman has joined Newcastle United, and Renato Sanches we are not sure of him, AC Milan is a Champion this seasonsin Italy, but you can not buy a play to defend your title, I blame Elliot for this, he supposed to leave the investor from middle East, he just gave to Redbird Company because he is from New York Nonsense fuk off.

  4. And another 4 days will pass and more of our transfer targets will sign with other teams as we have no $$$ to spend lol. CDK??? Ya right. He will cost close to 50m most likely. Acerbi will be Redbirds statement signing lol. What a joke. But ya I guess is fans who criticize Redbird are way off base eh??? Lol. Redbird or Red$hit is more accurate. M&M still NOT signed. From Botman and Bremer to Acerbi? LMAO. Who is next? Should we bring back Walter Birsa for 10M??? LOL.

    1. Man, I was really mad wt diz crazy people, but u made me burst into laughter with the name u mentioned ‘Birsa’ . Milan is in deep shit, n I sincerely don’t know how they are going to get out of it over the years. I still see Redbird selling Milan on within a few years.
