AC Milan, despite the wishes of Theo Hernandez, are continuing to speak to Al Hilal with an offer still present.
There is a lot that needs to be unpacked with Theo’s situation, and that doesn’t do the situation justice. He wants to leave to a European club, but no one will pay what he is worth. Milan want to sell him, but no one will pay what he is worth.

Saudi Arabian interest
There is, of course, some teams that can pay what he is worth, and Al Hilal are the big suitors. Simone Inzaghi is a big fan of his, and he has even spoken to the Frenchman. However, the defender seemingly has no interest in a move to the Middle East.
Despite this, discussions are still ongoing, with both teams holding out for a change of heart, according to Fabrizio Romano. Their offer is still on the table – €35 million, inclduing bonuses – and it will remain there for now.
Considering the threat of the bench is very much there to be used, Theo may have to take the move for his sake. After all, a year in Saudi Arabia is better than one spent rotting on the substitute bench or the reserves amid the World Cup.

Theo of all people does not want to go to Saudi Arabia. Why can’t Furlani get that through his rat skull? Move on and focus somewhere else.
But why’s Inzaghi not going for Di Marco instead? Is that tacit admission that Theo is the better of the two or is that acknowledging that Inter do not sell key players?
It’s common knowledge now that Milan can sell anybody and that they’re forcing Théo out. Inter doesn’t sell its best players unless they ask to leave or if they need money, which obviously they don’t anymore after their second star and successive fruitful UCL campaigns.
Successive fruitful campaigns, where they lost 5-0 to PSG in final. Definitely successful by their standards.
Right… And Milan did what this season by comparison? Gotten far in CL? COmpeted for the Scudetto? Won Coppa Italia, right?

Why would Di Marco want to play in the desert. He’s a Inter veteran and one of the leaders at the club. Use your brain. We don’t do well outside of Italy.
Theo isn’t going anywhere. They will need to figure out a way to coexist.
