This was always going to happen. But the number of potential outgoings has not been completely nailed on in recent weeks.
Saving money
Milan’s plan is simple, they would like to be as cost efficient as possible this summer, so they can look at certain players to save money who are still costing them money.
As Calcio e Finanza write, there are 10 players who could ‘save money’ for the Rossoneri, and this would be done via players with amortisation or wasted salaries. So, as seen below, the list and financials are as follows:
€44 million in total would be a huge addition to the transfer budget, and this is without even considering the value of their exits. For example, Musah’s sale would save the club almost €7m whilst also providing a sale fee of nearly €30m.

Well we really should not be signing any players before selling (or hold the deals in place). It would put us at a disadvantage when it’s time to sell as the buying clubs will know we need to offload and ask us for a price reduction….but 🤷♂️it’s our management, who knows…. anything goes
The problem is that it also works the other way around.
If we sell before buying we would be more desperate to get new players as our squad will be thinner and teams will know they won’t have to do us any favour in terms of price reduction.
Besides, teams already know we want to offload some players so they’re not in a hurry since the players are low quality.
The player they want to sell have low quality or have quality but injury prone so i dont think sell now or later have huge effect. They will be lucky if they can sell all of them and terminated origoat contract. Emerson royale are the proof failure product from management last season
They all can make big capital gain, so not all.of them are necessary for sale.
For example Musah can be loaned out for lon fee.
Emerson Royal departure would be excellent. And in my opinion Chukwueze.
All others can provide fine gain. Adli ✔️ Pobega ✔️ even Bennacer for lower fee than 10 million, Colombo ✔️ Thiaw ✔️ Okafor ✔️
I guess we can sell both Okafor and Chuckwueze and just use Jimenez and Saelesmaekers as backups to Leao and Pulisic. They can both also be backups to a new starter at RB so they are quite useful as backups on several positions.
I like the idea if slimming down the squad to 23 including youngsters as Torriani and Bartesaghi, and spending more money on a few quality additions.
The big challange will be to convince most of these players to leave…
The problem with Saleamakers and Jiminez is that are basically the same player. Useful off the bench but wouldn’t want them to be starting many games for the team. They are in-between players. Can do both offense and defense, but not really great at either. If you play them as backups to Pulisic and Leao that is a huge drop off offensively. And I don’t trust either of them defensively as strictly a fullback. I guess they could work as wingbacks if we are playing that way.
I wouldn’t be against keeping Okafor and Chuku around unless you get good offers for them. They can both provide some offense off the bench.

Should also be said that the first 5 are the essential players to sell as they make up 35.5 of those 44 million that can be saved…+ transfer fees
Dont forget the snake Origi is still lurking in the tall grass. He will cost 2-4mn this season depending if he takes a deal or not
