MN: Milan resume training ahead of Salernitana game – the latest on Ibrahimovic, Lazetic and Gabbia

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan today resumed training at Milanello in view of the match against Salernitana on Saturday night, and there is still no good news regarding Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

MilanNews writes that the entire Milan squad (aside from Simon Kjaer who has a long-term injury) trained at Milanello today aside from three notable exceptions. Firstly, new signing Marko Lazetic is continuing with the individual work he has been given with the hope of getting him up to the right condition as quickly as possible.

Then, Zlatan Ibrahimovic continued his work in the gym alone too meaning his Achilles problem has not got any better and he was not able to train on the field. Matteo Gabbia – who missed the Sampdoria game due to plantar fasciitis – carried out a personalised training programme on the field.

It certainly begs the question when Ibra will be back given he limped off during the first half of the 0-0 draw against Juventus and has not done any group training since.
