Daily Mail: Milan among teams interested in Pulisic as Chelsea are open to loan

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan made a significant investment to land Charles De Ketelaere and thus bolster the attack but there could be more to come. In fact, they are among the teams interested in Chelsea’s Christian Pulisic, a report claims.

The negotiations were lengthy but eventually, Milan reached an agreement with Club Brugge for the transfer of De Ketelaere at €35m. Since then, it has been reported that the Rossoneri are satisfied with the attack and don’t intend to invest further.

According to Daily Mail, however, Milan are among the teams interested in Pulisic. The American is unhappy with the lack of playing time and Chelsea are now willing to let him leave on loan. The likes of Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Newcastle are also interested.

From a Milan perspective, it seems like an unrealistic transfer especially given the salary of Pulisic. On the other hand, an agreement could be reached with Chelsea to split the salary if it is a loan. Furthermore, the right-wing has been pointed out as a weak spot for Milan currently.

  1. I’d much rather CP or Ziyech than Messias/Saele. If Pioli continues to refuse to give Rebic a chance at RW (which is unfortunate if he does), then I would love for us to figure out a way to afford Pulisic.

Alternatively for RW, if Brahim Diaz has really transformed himself, then instead of CDK starting as CAM, he could start as RW… so the need for Pulisic or Diaz isn’t HUGE given our seemingly good newfound depth (again, if Pioli is willing to use Rebic and/or CDK at RW).

BOTTOM LINE — Messias and Saele should not really see the field much IMHO. we have far, far better and more effective options who impact the game in positive ways.

  2. Not going to happen in this transfer window, the way I see it is that any new signings in attack that are not U21 are going to happen only in January if Ibra retires or Diaz loan is terminated early.
Yes, things can change if we’re selling either Leao or Saele, but I truly doubt either will happen before January.

  3. Leao – Origi – Rebic. Will run any defence to their pits.

Pioli is just too stubborn. Let salamankers be Leao back up, the dude have played better in LW, the messias Should be rebic back up, then giroud should alternate with Origi (who I prefer to start.

    Leao – Origi – Rebic
    CDK
    Benaceer – Tonali
    Theo – kalulu – Tomori – Calabria

The ultimate Milan starting 11, pioli Knows but he is just being stubborn

  4. Probably gonna get smack but i’ll just say it anyways:

I think Salamaekers is gonna to redeem himself this season and be the wild card. I will give one more season of chances to him since we are obviously not going to buy more players for attack honestly.
