CM: Milan were ‘irritated’ by Faivre’s comments but remain interested – the latest

By Isak Möller -

Romain Faivre has been heavily linked with AC Milan ever since the summer but a few weeks ago, the rumours cooled down. The reason? The player himself took part in an interview that the Rossoneri didn’t appreciate.

The winger, who plays for Brest, was interviewed by Gazzetta Dello Sport two weeks ago (read here) and he talked almost as if his move to Milan was just a matter of time. This is something that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara were ‘irritated’ by.

For that reason, as reported by Calciomercato.com, the rumours cooled down but the reality is that Milan haven’t left the race. They will make a new attempt to sign the player but it remains to be seen if they will do so in January or the summer.

A lot will depend on the recovery of Ante Rebic and the potential breakthrough of Junior Messias, per the report. In short, Milan remain interested and will follow the situation with great interest.
