AC Milan loanee Mattia Caldara played from start for Spezia in the clash between the two sides last night. He had a decent night despite the loss and before the game, he also shared a few words on the Rossoneri.
Caldara joined Milan in the summer of 2018 but has never made a league appearance for the Rossoneri, struggling with many injuries. Since January 2020, he has been on three loan spells: Atalanta, Venezia and now Spezia.

Speaking to Sky Italia prior to the game, as cited by MilanNews, Caldara states that it’s every child’s dream to play for Milan. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite work out for him during his time at the club.
“As with any player, the best remedy is to play continuously. I hope to take advantage of the opportunity that gave me by the coach and to do well. Wearing the Milan shirt is every child’s dream.”
The loan will expire in the summer and there is a buy-out clause in favour of Spezia. It remains to be seen if the latter will trigger the option, but it’s believed to be valued at a very low figure anyway.

Caldara was super solid last night. Funny how we’re trying to sell him for 4m when he’s easily good enough for a 3rd or 4th CB here. Imo we should waste 0 money on a CB, bring Caldara back and use that money on a RW, ST, and a CM. Would benefit us far greater than another CB.
Caldara is way better than gabbia.
He is just,i dont know,we bargain him for bonucci that we bought for 40mil.
