MN: Milan to face logistical struggles around Supercoppa final with Inter

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan are set to face a tough period logistically thanks to the fixture list and the placement of the Supercoppa Italiana final, a report claims.

As has been reported by Milan News, Milan will be tasked with two long-distance away trips on either side of their journey to face Inter in Saudi Arabia.

On January 15, three days before the Supercoppa final, Milan have a trip to face Lecce right down in the heel of Italy, the longest domestic journey that they will have all season.

On January 18 the Rossoneri will be in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to face Inter in the Supercoppa Italiana final. That represents the first chance in the season to win a new trophy for Stefano Pioli’s side.

Four days after that game, January 22, Milan will be at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome to face Maurizio Sarri’s Lazio side.

Pioli will have to make sure he rotates his squad accordingly in that period.

  1. Which idiot didn’t move the supercoppa to a better date? LOL, that is why Serie A is so behind, people leading it are clueless.

      1. Absolutely zero life. Every article…negative. it’s a basic fixture list issue. Has been going on for years.

This really isn’t an issue. World Cup is probably more of an issue
