AC Milan are one of the many teams interested in the Atalanta fullback. Conti is one of the highest rated young Italian players in the peninsula and is keen on a move.
According to Sky news, Milan are looking to solidify a deal for the player no later than June 16th and have already begun negotiations. The deal is something the new management want to accelerate as ideally Montella will have 70-80% of his new squad before preseason starts.
Conti is one of the many starlets on this year’s Atalanta team that finished fourth. Milan have already signed his teammate, Franck Kessie to a two year loan with obligation to buy. Adding in the full back will bring in the much needed skill, talent and chemistry that the squad has lacked in recent years.
Conti is keen on the move and has previously declared his interest in joining the San Siro giants.
