GdS: Nasti, Lazetic, Roback and more – Milan’s plans for their talented forwards

By Oliver Fisher -

One area that AC Milan are well stocked in view of the future is the centre-forward ranks, and they have a plan for each of their ‘baby bombers’.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports how Lorenzo Colombo was the first to depart this summer after he scored 6 goals on loan at SPAL in Serie B last season. This time he will play in Serie A with Baroni’s newly promoted Lecce having gone there on loan with an option to buy plus a buy-back in the Rossoneri’s favour, and he started with a brace in his first friendly yesterday.

Another player who will depart Marco Nasti, the 18-year-old Primavera top scorer from 2021-22 with 17 goals. Fresh from the U19 European Championships, he should go on loan to Cosenza in Serie B.

Finally, Marko Lazetic is expected to leave on loan too with Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara evaluating the potential destinations. The Serbian talent arrived in January from the Red Star for about €4m and made five appearances in the Primavera without a goal.

Daniel Maldini is closing in on an exit after making 13 senior appearances last season, and though he seemed set for Spezia at first a hijack arrived from Hellas Verona and they are not close to signing him.

Finally, the 19-year-old Emil Roback could depart too. He had a positive year with 7 goals in all competitions last season for the Primavera, and he could be used as a counterpart in the Charles De Ketelaere negotiations, to lower the cash sum required.

  1. Send Roback to Bruges as a counterpart for De Ketelaere
Send the others to Red Bull Salzburg as counterparts for Sesko.
We’ll be set up front for the next 15 years
